Director of Music since 2012, Brian Breeding directs the Chancel Choir, Joy in the Morning, First Bells, Youth Worship Arts Curators, and the music in J.A.M. For over 20 years he has served in numerous churches and denominations around the country and taught 14 years, most recently as Director of Choral Activities at the University of Wyoming and as Associate Director of Choral Activities at California State University, East Bay. Mr. Breeding holds an undergraduate degree Vocal Music Education from the University of Central Arkansas, a Masters in Music History from the University of Arkansas, and has completed all coursework towards a DMA in choral conducting at the University of Iowa. Active as a clinician and conductor, Mr. Breeding has served as a state level chair for the American Choral Directors Association and most recently was the 2009 Director for the Worship and Arts Conference at Mo Ranch, featuring pastor, author and speaker Dr. Graham Standish. In 1996 he was chosen as one of four Masterclass Conductors with Jon Washburn, director of the Vancouver Chamber Choir and Phoenix Bach Choir.
