Primary Ministry Areas at FUMC

At FUMC, we believe that God calls and equips every member to be in ministry — meeting the needs of others in the name of Christ. Our common ministry is organized and coordinated by five ministry area teams:

• Welcome and Inclusion — Connecting people with people who are strangers, both within and beyond our church walls
• Nurture and Fellowship — Providing trained lay pastoral care, accountable small groups and church-wide gathering events
• Education and Spiritual Growth — Providing a full spectrum of Christian education and spiritual growth opportunities for our FUMC family.
• Missions and Outreach — Providing global, statewide and local mission opportunities for our FUMC family to put their faith into action
• Worship and Creative Arts — Connecting God and people together for corporate worship; proclamation of the Word of God and offering of the Sacraments, music and the arts.
